UPHF is committed to welcoming and providing personalized support for its students with disabilities, throughout their training career.

Benefit from the help of the Relais Handicap

Students with disabilities can benefit from various accommodations. For courses, the curriculum and/or examinations. Accommodations are personalized and designed to compensate for the student's disability.

Any student enrolled at the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France who has a disability or health problem of any kind (motor, psychological, sensory, disabling, etc.) and for any length of time, can benefit from the assistance of the Relais Handicap in their procedures, and in particular in the declaration of their disability, if they so wish and in complete confidentiality.

To this end, the student contacts the Relais Handicap as soon as possible (before, during or after registration, from the start of the academic year), in order to trigger his or her request for a Plan d'Accompagnement de l'Etudiant en situation de Handicap (PAEH). Once the request has been studied, the disability advisor for the student's training component will ensure that the accommodations granted are put in place.

Re-registration

Any student who has benefited from accommodations in previous years at UPHF, must imperatively request renewal at the beginning of the new academic year.

Students with a PAEH valid for the entire curriculum must also imperatively report to the relais handicap at the start of the year. This validity will enable the student to benefit from the accommodations without having to see the SSU doctor again, unless changes require modifications to the accommodations. If the student changes course, however, he or she will have to renew the PAEH completely.
