CLIMATE SENSE: raising awareness of climate change on our campus!
The INSA Hauts-de-France is hosting the CLIMATE SENSE device, thanks to the support of the club Démarche Verte and the Communauté d'Agglomération de Valenciennes Métropole (CAVM). This immersive experience raises awareness of the concrete impacts of climate change, designed to provoke triggering action.

A two-stage experience
- 30 minutes in an immersive 50°C climate chamber, (in groups of up to 10 people) where you'll carry out everyday activities to get a real feel for the effects of climate disruption.
- 30 minutes of discussion and presentation, to discover solutions and actions to implement in your daily life and professional environment.
Who is this experience for?
The Climate Sense is aimed at different audiences on the campus and its partners:
- Executives and managers who are members of Démarche Verte Hainaut, to support the ecological transition.
- Students, teachers and staff at INSA Hauts-de-France, as part of their training in environmental issues, in line with the ClimatSup project (Groupe INSA & The Shift Project).
- Collaborators from SKF Aeroengine, strongly committed to environmental issues.
For the smooth running of the activity, pre-registration on a dedicated slot is mandatory.
